Whether you know it or not, there is an issue with the all new for Corvette C8 2020 that allows water to pool in the front strut towers. The towers are made from aluminum but the strut hardware isn't and the pooling water causes the top nut and bolt to rust. This C8 Strut Tower Covers provides a simple solution and prevents the water from entering the strut towers. Our covers are made from durable black ABS plastic and look like a factory piece once installed. Installation of this C8 Strut Tower Covers can be accomplished in less than 30 minutes with minimal tools.
Customers with front lift adjustable height option (Option code E60): for Chevrolet recently issued a technical service bulletin regarding the reservoir cap leaking. The DOT 4 brake fluid used in the front lift system can have a negative reaction with the chemicals that are in the ABS plastic. It has been described to cause “catalytic embrittlement in the ABS, making it very brittle and weak”. While ABS plastic is normally very durable this chemical reaction with the brake fluid can cause the cover to break.
Please ensure that your reservoir cap is not leaking fluid prior to installation of the passenger side strut tower cover.

How to install：
1.Use a pry tool or your hand to pop off the side covers and the large center cover.Make them held on and pull upward to remover them ,
Note:when you replace the shock tower cover ,please check whether there is water collect in strut mounts,if yes ,use a hair dryer or cleaning cloths to soak up the water .
2.Slide driver side under first:
A:Pull the wire harness out of the way from the driver’s side strut tower using a pry tool,make sure that the wire harness is behind the shock tower cover when install it.
B:Remove the bolt from the side of the coolant reservoir with 10 mm socket.
C:Take our strut tower cover and insert it into the tab between the strut tower and the reservoir,and tighten the bolt with 10 mm socket
3.Then install passenger side:
A：Slide the passenger side strut cover into place by anging the cover towards the outer fender then rotating nit into place,(Be careful not to bend or damage the hard line or collant reservoir！)
B：Used a zip-tie and funneled it through the screw hole on the cover and tied it .along side a tube which was mounted on the car.(Ensure the zip tie is around the rubber isolator)
4.Reinstall the center and side covers and you did a good job

I bought the carbon fiber look version. It's very rigid. It needs to be a bit flexible, and you will need to bend it to install it. It's hidden, so it wouldn't really have made a difference between the plastic version and the carbon fiber. And as a side note, its not truly carbon fiber. Also, I needed to grind the firewall side of the passenger side piece to make it fit. The driver side is held on by a screw. The passenger side is attached by a wire-tie that can be attached to an A/C line. It basically just lay's on top of the aluminum strut housing. I added a bead of clear silicon along the firewall side and the cover to lock it in and prevent it from rattling and making noise.

The product was absolutely as described it was quite easy to install! The quality was excellent and I highly recommend it to anybody who has a brand new C8 Corvette. Actually there was water in the passenger side Strut tower. It will never be a problem again thanks to this product!
