The item description for the Tacoma tow hooks clearly states it is made of heavy duty titanium. It is NOT made of titanium. I received a set made of steel. A simple check is to verify if the item is magnetic. Titanium is not magnetic. I am very disappointed as I was hoping to have the anti-rust properties of titanium on these front mounted hooks. Now I have the hassle of returning the product.

I needed these brackets to install shackles on my truck. But do to having a bull bar I couldn’t bolt them in where I had to but I was able to modify these and weld them on instead which made it even stronger.

From everything I’ve read about these (and demon hooks in general) you probably shouldn’t actually use them for recovery… however you can leave the OEM recovery points on with these particular brackets!Very simple install, didn’t need to read any instructions!Love the way it looks!

The product came with very good protection of content inside. However the shackles have paint missing. It is clear they where put in the box this way. Poor quality control. Very disappointing. They look well built, but have a subpar paint department.
