Works just fine on any type 1 VW transmission, swing axle or IRS. Zinc coating seems like it's quality but time will tell.

Its the same bracket I bought for my baja bug back in the 70s hasn't changed.If you are using this - you have to use the solid front bracket and the additional strap over the middle of the trans.If you don't use them and leave the stock mounts you are taking a chance on breaking where the front mount connects to the nose cone. when you torque the trans the stock real mount will twist and you new solid front mount won't - stress - break, tranny jumping around when you let out the clutch.... Been there done that, see more than one broke too.
