Might have been my fault for not noticing that this is Not the kind that roll themselves up after being unrolled by rain coming down the downspout. Was quite thin and blew around like a flag in the breeze. Only the attachment to the downspout kept it from launching across the yard. It comes with a giant twist-tie, which doesn't seem to make it very tight around the downspout. I ignored that and used a large zip-tie from the previous one I was replacing. So the expectation is that every time it finishes raining you should go out and roll it back up again before it lays on the grass and kills it. I know I won't be very good about staying on top of that so I've found and ordered another one that rolls itself up after it rains from the same manufacturer.

Plastic deteriorates quickly when in the sun then it starts to crack and gets holes in it.

Had to wait on the rain to come to test. 1st rain- it never went out. Waited for another rain- and it was a good heavy rain, it didn't roll out, so pulled I went out in the pouring rain to pull it out. It never folds up after like it claims. Water sits in it still even though holes for the water to empty.I contacted the seller, and they say it's past the 30 day warranty. Really- so if you buy and have no rain for 30 days- you are out of luck, which is exactly what happened for me waiting on a second rain to see if the product would work in a heavy rain. I contacted the seller again to explain this and never heard back. Terrible customer service.

Product is good. The material is thick yet flexible. It is relatively tear proof, so it deserves a good rating. The ad mis-represents the product. Flat, the item measures 7-1/4" across (2 sides folded), which means a circumference of 14-1/2". However, the diameter is only 4-1/2" , not the 7" by 7" described. A 3x4 downspout has a perimeter just under 14", so this would attach to that. A better ad would be "3+ x 4+ x 8 feet." I needed it to fit over a 5" round pipe, and was duped by the ad, ooops. I had to develop a reducer collar from sheet vinyl and vinyl tape. Ugly, and will need maintenance, but it got the job done, eventually. Product has 2 holes punched near one end to feed the twist tie through. Then it has a series of hole pairs about every 4" up to about 30 inches from other end. Both ends are open. Item is odor free and not greasy or anything like that.

This is nothing but some plastic sleeving with some holes poked in it. They furnish a twist tie to secure it. It does not roll up by itself. A total waste of money.

Easy to attach to my 3 X 4 gutter downspout. Rained hard, the unit unrolled, diverted the water flow as designed.
