I bought this plant twice. The first time it quickly died (within a week of receiving it). The entire plant had brown spots. I figured it was my fault so I bought another one. The day I received the plant in the mail, I noticed several leaves with the same kind of spots as the first one. This seller DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. And when you contact them, they give you the run around telling you to return it but they clearly have a no return policy.DO NOT BUY FROM THEM unless you like throwing money away.

Much smaller than depicted in photos. Given the small size and small root ball, I’ll be shocked if they survive but I’ll bump up the stars if they do make it and actually bloom.

The plant is bigger than I expected but in rough shape. It was like an avalanche of dead yellow leaves as I took it out of its packaging. Shipping took way longer than it should have so it’s no wonder. It says it shipped on 7/8 but wasn’t received at the first carrier until 7/13 and delivered to me on 7/20. Surprisingly, the soil was still moist, though, so I’m hoping it survives this trauma.

This plant was larger and more full than I expected. A beautiful shrub with glossy leaves. No damage in spite of UPS. Well packaged. I don't remember being so pleased with an "ordered" plant. Most don't seem to like being shipped. I would order from this seller again surely. The packager protected the gardenia all the way down to the rootball. Great job all the way around. The plant was for a housewarming gift and made me look good.

Bought two and thought they were both dying with root rot because of yellow leaves and it must have been the shock of the mailing............I asked for replacements which they sent right away...........now I am trying to pay for the two that they sent to replace the first ones....... I guess this is unusual but I am of an age you pay for what you get.Thank you once again Amazon........above and beyond the call of duty.

I have managed to kill four Gardenia plants, because they are high-maintenance, just like roses, so much so that they literally demand rose food. This plant is amazing. It's like they spliced it with an aloe plant or one of those air orchids that will continue to live on even if its caretaker drops dead (or, in my case, neglects it for an extended period of time). It's the healthiest plant in my house...and it's a Gardenia! Those two ideas have never been put together in the same sentence, before. Bravo!
