Good branch spreader. May need pre-bent to achieve desired angle of branches. Falls out of tree easily.

First, let me say that I've been trained by a professional orchard manager and have been raising Apple trees on various sites for 30 years, and used mostly homemade spreaders. Decided to try some of these and they are COMPLETE JUNK. First one bent and damaged my tree (see pics). The next two were very hard to nest and kept slipping around the branch. Returning them and going back to making my own.

These are awesome limb spreaders. They fell like commercial grade… like they can be left in place for multiple seasons and can be reused again and again for years or decades. I’ve purchased other metal limb-spreaders that we more like thin wire. These are hefty.In my photos, you’ll see I attached them to a number of first year shoots on an old apple tree that I’m going to train into new branches.

Good branch spreaders. Good tension on the bar. Seems pricey but that is because these are much longer than most spreaders. Works well. No issues or complaints.
