Was the exact part I needed for my 3 speed front chainring. No complaints. Had to replace one that was eaten up on my entry level road bike I bought used. Part fit into place no problem. Note you will need a crank puller to install if you are replacing the middle chainring on a 3 speed usually.

This my middle chain ring which is used the most for a 74 year old on a touring bike . Good quality chain ring that shifts well with Shimano bar end shifters.

I purchased this item in order to replace a previous long time use that of a 42t chain ring on my road bike crank drivetrain. My cadence and or spin on the new 39t as for a female bike rider overall, has been much easier on my muscles and legs; a more comfortable gear ratio zone on a 9-speed cassette(27 gear ratio total). I also had shrunk down the biggest Gear from a 52t to a 48t on my triple front crank drivetrain gears. Much better! Another important factor which these two chain rings had that I was looking for as component change for my bike, they were ramped and pinned for smoother shifting when going up or down in between a triple front geared crank set; IMO, this is a necessity, maybe not for the granny gear, but most definitely for at least the biggest and the second front chain rings for smoother gear transfer. FSA is a widely known bike component maker and thus far from the time I had these new component changes on my bike from my older versions, I have had no problems with them. I would highly recommend purchasing FSA Pro Chainrings for any personal chain ring changes.
