The backdrop stand was stable enough to hold this backdrop up. You do need to place weights to the bottom to keep the stand up. This stand is really for indoor use however I used it outside. Easy to assemble, portable bag for storage is a plus. This not for heavy duty use or double layering.

The stand assembles quickly and easily. The seller has been great to work with. I had a problem with one of the parts and the seller replaced it immediately at no charge.

Ordered to display/support an 8' x 8' photo backdrop for my high school class' 50 year reunion.- Ordered this model as an upgrade to replace a non-heavy duty stand ordered the week prior, as saw several comments regarding the lighter one's durability and sagging of the upper crossbar.- It functioned very well. Having seen comments regarding durability and breakage, we were very careful and deliberate in assembly/disassembly.- All parts still in working order and stored in the provided storage/transport bag.- Will concur that repeated/recurring use could present more of a challenge in assembly/disassembly and breakage, as some comments have identified.- CAUTION: Be careful/use judicious force when tightening the position/height locks on the two uprights. Releasing one of our locks required multiple people, about 20 minutes, two sets of large pliers, plus wrapping the two pieces so as to not damage them... Successfully released and stored. But, be mindful!- Will use it again for future events.- Recommend it!
