This is a perfect replacement for the original, factory part. Fit right in and was easy to install the original painted gas flap on as well.Pro tip: use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry down from the inside of the gas door housing to release the two, hidden tabs that are on the top outside of the housing. Then, once the top is coming loose, lift up the bottom and rotate as needed to remove it.Take note that in the description, it says this housing only fits styleside F150 beds. That is incorrect, as it fits 2004 -2008 regular F150 beds as well.

Absolutely Perfect!!This fit perfectly, is much more durable than the OEM product that I removed, and is the least expensive product of this kind on Amazon.This fit level, and flush to the body, and has equal spacing around the filler door. This has an aluminum spring retainer, whereas the OEM one is plastic. That plastic retainer on the OEM product is what broke, and left my gas door flapping.I was somewhat skeptical of this product because of the price, but I would bet money on the fact that it outperforms almost every similar item on Amazon, and it's half the price!
