Was installed on a 2004 Toyota Matrix and the sensor did not work, or it does not fit this car or it turned out to be defective

First one failed shorted out melted plug on harness before I could even drive the car, Ok So they send another one. I replace the plug on harness on my own dime, Install replacement part. Drove car about 50miles without a issue. Give car back to daughter .Her first time out and the part shorts out again+ blew the fuse to the computer and melted the plug on the harness again. This time I had to send a tow truck to pic her up in traffic. 125$ tow!! So now I bought (real one) Made in USA on the part + another harness plug replaced the fuse and Its finally Fixed. Only reason I purchased the cheap one to begin with Appeared to have good overall rating reviews. Well Between the car down time for failed parts and the tow its cost me double to get car fixed. So I cant recommend anyone buying this particular part. One time you get what you pay for.
