INSTALLATION:

  1. First cool the car for 20 minutes, Unplug the wiring harness from the IAC valve.
  2. Depress the tab and pull the harness away from the valve to unplug it.
  3. Remove the two bolts securing the IAC valve in place and remove vertically upward

Was installed on a 2004 Toyota Matrix and the sensor did not work, or it does not fit this car or it turned out to be defective

2004 toyota corolla bought one installed part.. worked a couple of starts.then the part smoked burnt up connector and part. Had to buy connector and part again. Put the second one in. Did the same thing . Bought new part and connector at auto zone and install no problems.

First one failed shorted out melted plug on harness before I could even drive the car, Ok So they send another one. I replace the plug on harness on my own dime, Install replacement part. Drove car about 50miles without a issue. Give car back to daughter .Her first time out and the part shorts out again+ blew the fuse to the computer and melted the plug on the harness again. This time I had to send a tow truck to pic her up in traffic. 125$ tow!! So now I bought (real one) Made in USA on the part + another harness plug replaced the fuse and Its finally Fixed. Only reason I purchased the cheap one to begin with Appeared to have good overall rating reviews. Well Between the car down time for failed parts and the tow its cost me double to get car fixed. So I cant recommend anyone buying this particular part. One time you get what you pay for.

Bad part. On first start after install the IAC shorted out burned up, melted the connection, and popped the EFI fuse. Huge waste of time
