This fit perfectly. I had the tank removed from the pickup and installed the sending unit. The float did not drag the side of the tank. I installed the tank, then I poured in 5.5 gallons of fuel. The gauge reads 3/16 full. This is a factory tank and I do not know the capacity, I believe that it is 16 gallons. I have not filled the tank completely to see how the gauge reads when physically full.

The angle of the sending unit was off. I had to modify it to function properly. I would have returned the product but I needed it asap.
