When I opened the box it looked pretty good at first. The fuel hose is very thin walled and is susceptible to kinking, I wasn't going to use it anyway, it's not good. The clamps are the wrong type, big and bulky, these type of clamps damage fuel hoses, I wasn't going to use them either. Then I noticed that the plastic fuel lever was way too long, it can not be used and I'm not so sure that the original one will fit this petcock. Then I noticed that the spigot was pointing in the wrong direction, 90 degrees off and not angled downwards at approximately 45 degrees. At this point I will not even attempt to install this petcock on my machine, it would be a waist of time. If you look closely at the photo's in the listing the KVF-400 is not included in the models that it fits, however it does say that it fit's in the heading. FYI the original Kawasaki part # for '97-'98 KVF-400 is 51023-1224 and it subs up to 51023-1316, this petcock from Terisnds is not a proper replacement for those part numbers.

Fits Kawi KVF-360 ATV. if your in a pinch and can't afford the $120 OEM part this will work for you and much cheaper...not sure it will last as long as Kawi petcock, but at this price it works!

This is more or less a universal fit peacock. Plastic knob is way too long for my KVF400. Resembles the knob on a Honda in length. Had to modify my original knob by enlarging hole that fits on valve. Works, but not an easy replacement.
