I have been in search of a good POE PTZ style camera to work not only with my NVR but also my PTZ controller. While this camera doesn't work with the zooming functions of my PTZ Controller and NVR, it definitely works with the tilt and pan functions. My PTZ Controller has panning speed options which do not work with this camera, but I did find that if I pan multiple times with my controller, the pan speed changes on the controller. For example, I move the ptz controller to the left once, and the pan speed is slow. But if it move it left twice in a row the pan speed is higher. So far I feel like there's only 2 speeds using my controller. The tilt speed is pretty decent in speed and I'm unable to tell if there's a different in speeds utilizing the same techniques as the panning.I'm also quite thrilled that I'm able to use the video preview with my ptz controller's pvw screen without the need to move to my security workstation to view the nvr.I also absolutely love the 2 camera design as the main front-facing camera stay where I need it too for my door security, but I can also pan the lower camera to see other areas while still keeping an eye on where I need too. The camera works well with my NVR and is really decent in video quality. The night view can easily make out details as well.All in all, this camera is quite worth it and was easy to set up with an nvr as I was able to search and locate the camera without the need to input the ip information. I'm quite satisfied with this camera and it has become my main front-door camera to use for some added security that the last ptz camera was unable to provide, being the multiple camera setup.
