As usual no instructions. When I first compressed them I noticed it was all spring no shock. I stared at them and noticed they where not the same lengths either. I began messing with them and noticed everything was lose and opened one to see there is no oil inside. You might think wtf? However I thought about it and realized I could totally customize them and pick my own oil thickness and how much to add which turned out to be really cool. If you buy these besides having to add oil you should also remove the rod end (it just unscrews) and then tap the spring support into the rod end so they are tight together then when you screw it back on use needle nose on the rod so you can get them nice and tight. I assume they are not assembled properly because you have to disassemble to add oil. Overall I am pleased. It is a little stiffer which greatly improved handling on flat ground however it is a little bumpy on rough terrain. I may try thinner oil for that.

Bottom to replace original ones.These broke every other day.. Losing the peace that holds in the spring by original. They don't put lock type, i'm their products, which makes them fall apart.

The Good,full metal construction The no good, no oil,to long for the Hyper Go H16BM /Hosin1:16 scale I kept them for bigger scale and heavier rc veh.

With the right oil it works good. I liked the play i had on the originals on my mjx hypergo #16207.

Did not fit hyper go buggy 16207 has no suspension travel, seems well made otherwise.

I was expecting an upgrade from stock but atleast the stock ones had oil shocks. These are strictly friction based shocks. Will try to modify them anyways.

Showed up with no oil in them and one of them was missing the inner spring.

The material, the colour, has a good finish - but that's about it.Out of the package of 4, three of them had at least one of the brass knuckle joints arrived seized.On the set I received, I can confirm what many other reviews indicated - they come dry, no oil.They have a very short travel length, and the cylinders are smaller than the originals on the H16PL.Because they are smaller in diameter and shorter travel length, the spring coils appear to be smaller gauge too - but there, they are the same as original.During manual compression, I can feel the piston rod scratching as it traveled. It was NOT a smooth mechanism.I felt it best to return than to try and "make it work" . As-is, I don't think they'd perform well, and with the amount of friction felt, would not last.

Not a very good shock. Recommend spending more on a different brand.
