Our new dog chewed the stap on my recently purchased purse and I thought it was done for until I found this strap. The colour match was great to my existing purse, complete with the gold colour hardware. I didn't realize that it was as narrow as it is, which makes it a bit stiff and harder to put overhead for crossbody as easily. Next time I would look for a bigger width but this definately saved the day.

This strap wasn’t either the right colour or wide enough for the purse (weight made it cut into shoulder). Much to my surprise there ARE NO RETURNS FOR IT IN CANADA. !!! Bad Amazon. This is not obvious onsite

I got a second hand pliage bag on a whim and when I got home I realized that I was wrong in assuming it would have a cross-body strap as an option inside the bag. Holding my purse in my hands is a cute look but not practical for real life, so I bought this strap, took it to a cobbler, and voila! it's a cross-body bag. The color of the leather and the color of the metal elements are an excellent match for my Longchamp bag. I couldn't be more pleased. Now, I can't speak to durability. I've only had it a short time. I'll come back to downgrade my review if it breaks in a dramatic fashion, but honestly for well under $20, I don't expect a lifetime of wear. If it breaks, I'll get a new one.

I have a tan purse my sister gifted me for a birthday years ago, but I could never use it more than a few times because the crossbody strap it came with was ridiculously short. In fact, it most likely was never made to be a crossbody strap; but rather a shoulder purse? Anyway not my style as I prefer actual crossbody.I was skeptical at first, but I figured why not try it since it was cheap and Amazon returns are amazingly easy. When I hooked the strap on, I literally said "really???" I was so surprised on how well the color actually matched and it felt strong enough that I am confident to walk around with it and not worry about my purse coming loose and dropping on the ground. The strap also has many lengths you can adjust the purse to.I definitely recommend this! No regrets thus far!
