How to brew tieguanyin tea?

Warm up the teapot with boiling water, put about 1-2 Tsp Anxi tie guan yin, pour a small amount of boiling water into the tea, and immediately pour out. This helps to damp tea leaves, wash and help them to start steeping.

After that pour 8 fl.oz of boiling water which is about 85-95°C (185-205°F) and cover the teapot for 3-5 minutes before serving.

tea has great benefits once you become adjusted to the taste, takes about a week. I start every day with a cup.

I just followed the On-Line Video instructions by PATTI, of Redlands, SoCal, on How To Cold Brew, IRON GODDESS, Oolong Tea, using 64oz Pitcher, Good Water, and 12hr STEEP in Refrigerator, Overnight. It's very simple to do, and results are very good. I liked the Final Resulting, Cold Brewed, IRON GODDESS, Oolong Tea. Taste, Aroma, Color, Flavor, and best of all, No Bitterness. Plus, you can Recycle and Reuse everything again, just increase the Brew Time, and Add Less Water. Adjust as needed. PATTI, has several 64oz Pitchers, to rotate, so there is always one that's got the Real Thing, Ready To Go... just pour, drink, and enjoy. What's not to like? v/r, "The TEA Spectator" :o)

I like this tea brewed relatively weak. It tastes like a mouthful of flower petals. I find it soothing

The tea looks, smells, and tastes very fresh. With adequate brewing, it has strong aromatic and floral flavor, which is exactly what I like.

This tea is just scented with orchid flavor which goes away from the first wash of the tea. Genuine orchid oolong has actual orchid flower in it which gives you the full aromatic taste throughout the entire gongfu tea drinking experience.

This is some damn good tea, my friend. It’s lovely, very floral tea. Allowing It the full space to unfurl really seems to give me the best flavor. I say that to say this tea does poof right up when it hits hot water so you might wanna allow for extra space in your cup or teapot to best accommodate said unfurling. FullChea also makes a lovely milk oolong as well. I’m fairly certain at this point that I will be purchasing some of each tea they make as I’m a sucker for thick leaves.
