This is good hose, you must know that yes under vacuum the hose does want to shrink back up. thats just how all this type of hose is. i setup a few holders along the run of hose, and i have zero issues with shrinking. the hose also does not collapse. there is a metal ring inside that prevents the hose from collapsing. The clamps that come with it arent ideal. but i did make them work. if your connector has a small lip at the end, then these clamps work fine. but if the connector is just straight, they can slip off.

The hose works great for me. The red squeeze clamps are useless though. Even over the hose, everything just slides off of any port I put it on. I should have gotten the screw ones. Oh well. Next time.

This is a nice solid feeling yet flexible dust collection system hose. With the correct adapters this has fit onto on my shop tools
