Depending on the vein, the colors range from bubblegum pink to palest pink, almost white, to stones of several colors including grey and black and occasionally bits of a darker, dusty greyish pink. Tumblestones are sold by weight. Approximate measurements vs. gram weight are as follows: XS = less than 2 g (3/8-1/2"), Small = 2.1 to 4 g (3/8-3/4"), Medium = 4.1 - 8 g (1/2-1 1/4"), Large = 8.1-15 g (3/4-1 1/4"), XL = 15.1 to 22 g (1 - 1 1/2") these are "average" numbers as each stone is unique

I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with The Fundamental Rockhound. I've worked with them on several occasions and each time I'm more impressed with not only my stones but the customer service. They have made sure that I recieved the perfect stone for the perfect circumstance. One was even a special birthday present to me!! Don't think I want to try anyone else at this point. Shipping time was outstanding!! And the stones that I have chosen so far have each come with their own velvet pouch and info card, along with a certification. A+ in my book!!

The petilite is s very nice stone but I’m always disappointed with the size of the stones. Nice quality but small.

This rock was about 1/2 inch. Very tiny. I had hoped it would be bigger. Even so, it is a very pretty rock.
