These appear to be well made.They feel like and look like stainless steel and are not attracted to a magnet.One side of the bungs is notched to sit flush on a rounded exhaust tube. The plug has a bevel that sits in a matching bevel on the bung. I noticed that some of the available bungs come with gaskets. Hopefully those are not needed here, but I cannot test or opine until they are mounted.I plan on using these on a 65 Mustang for wideband O2 sensors to keep the car safely in tune.

Welded these to 2.5" SS pipes. No lip but i used the plugs to make sure they stayed to center of hole in pipe while welding. I was able to weld them with mig welder and flux core SS wire.
