This is a great trashcan. No real assembly needed when you take it out of the box it easily hangs over my cabinet with no issues. I love the fact that you can open this and either direction depending on how you wanna add things into it. The only issue that I’m having is how to keep this from smelling and transferring compost as I think if you don’t stay on top of it so it will become an issue. I may find a different way to deal with my compost and keep this as a small trashcan.

So this is really nice if you need a bin for your compost or a trash bin for a small tight space. The lid is nice in that it can open normally or completely down and out of the way. This thing is HUGE. I personally don’t really like it for hanging on your cabinet door because it’s very clunky and in the way while hanging there. They do give you an option of an adhesive if you’d like to mount it on the wall instead. Check out the photos of another reviewer. They mounted this in their small bathroom as a tiny trash can and that is genius. If you have a small space that requires mounting a small trash bin, this would be the way to go. I would highly recommend not using it on your cabinet doors because it’s so big it’s actually an eyesore and I keep running and bumping into it. It is very nice and well made though. It’s a very niche item that is absolutely worth it if it works with your space. Just make sure to check the dimensions.

This trash can cuts out a lot of trips to the garbage while cooking. It can hold most of the waste you would typically make while cooking. I have it hanging off one of the drawers on my kitchen counter, making it easy to sweep trash directly from the counter or my chopping board into it. It's small enough to let you use shopping bags as trash bags, which is a great bonus.Also, it has little folds that allow you to tuck and hide the trash bag inside, so when the lid is closed, the trash bag isn’t visible, making it look much cleaner. I appreciate that it’s detachable, so if I want to remove it entirely, I can easily dump it into my compost bin. It's also straightforward to clean.
