This thing is easy for a beginner like myself to fly. The auto take off and land button is definitely handy when the wind seems to carry it away. I have not yet been able to make the thing move forward, just rotate and go up n down but there' the learning curve. So far the best one of the few I purchased. Very happy

Unfortunately I had to return this product. After placing it together, I had a bit of a hard time getting it to fly. After I finally got it to fly, it took off by itself. Not once but three times. I had bought 2 since I had been planning on keeping one. Sorry, product looked great but not happy w/it.

Fun little toy for the money. Can't compare it to any of the more expensive models but for $20 I have definitely got my money worth!

I got it for my nephew and he really likes it. He is 8 years old but finding it difficult to fly but loves to play with it. Overall it’s a good helicopter for the price. Can’t say anything about the durability yet.

The controls are awesome and this moves very well and is easy to control. This is so entertaining and great for kids and kids at heart. Overall this is worth for gifting and just being able to use it for personal use.

I think this is a great tiny helicopter, but before buying it I would consider getting a small drone that costs about the same instead, especially if you want to use it indoors.I consider this to be more of an indoor helicopter because I don’t think it can handle much wind. But to be honest, I haven’t tested it outside yet because it’s been too cold and windy.I got this because I had a similar helicopter about 10 years ago that I had an enormous amount of fun with before giving it to a friend. This copter is very similar and it has more features. But drones are newer technology and they might be a better choice if you want a flying toy. That’s because most drones come with propeller guards or shrouds that help prevent damage if you run it into a wall or object. They also help protect eyeballs and other body parts from injury, and I think that’s very important if you have very young children or pets who think a flying object is a cool thing to chase or be around. This copter is about 8.5 inches long and it has four spinning blades that are about 8-inches in diameter, along with a much smaller one at the tail. It takes a bit of skill to fly and it’s easy to accidentally fly it into something if you don’t have a large space and I’ve done that numerous times. It has been very durable and it comes with extra blades, but it probably won’t last long if you give it to a young kid or someone who’s not careful.IMPORTANT - There’s a problem with the instructions. They don’t seem to mention that you have to “arm” the helicopter before the controller will work. You do that by first turning on the copter, then the controller, and then pushing the left joystick all the way up and then all the way down. You’ll hear some beeps as you press the joystick and the helicopter’s light will stop flashing and become steady. This is a safety feature that many RC aircraft and cars have.Otherwise, this seems to be a well-designed and well-made helicopter. The altitude hold works well, although it doesn’t come with the capability to automatically hold its horizontal position. Automatic takeoff and landing works well and it flew well right out of the box without needing any adjustments. The controller needs three AAA batteries that are not included. The copter’s fairly large rechargeable battery slides in and out of the copter and its charger plugs into a USB port. The copter’s on/off switch is very tiny but it’s there under the helicopter near the nose.Except for the major omission I’ve mentioned the instructions are good and I recommend you carefully study them before trying to operate this helicopter.
