My outdoor cat likes this, but I'm not sure the self heating insert works that well. I still had to put a heat light outside for him in tbe colder temps.

Winter in Michigan is cold and damp. My cats are always looking for warmth and this provides just enough. Saves my furniture from being used as their bed. Washes well.

The blanket is too slippery. The top layer is not attached well to the middle insulation layer so the top layer slides around too much.

I had originally purchased this for an older dog it is so soft and hoping the thermal inside layer would keep her warmer. It did! Then along came our puppy. We already owned it so I gave it to her as ‘security ‘ blanket. To our surprise it is holding up and washing very well!! She loves it, sometimes uses it like a toy and has chewed on it!! I have purchased a back up and one in a smaller size to go with her when she goes to a friends when they dog sit.

Although this is soft and I can feel the heat radiating back it’s a lounge ON kind of blanket, not a cuddle up IN blanket. My dogs like to burrow so it’s not great for them.

I saw this in a news feed and I ordered 2 of them. My older cat loves to sleep on it. He’s a chunky guy, so with the arthritis and weight I was very surprised to see that he was able to jump on the counter. I attribute that to his napping blanket. He’s almost 13 and he hasn’t been able to get around so easily. It took awhile but now he’s moving much easier, apparently too easy. No cats on the counter!
