I'm actually really glad to have this set, especially the crimping tool. I have other crimping tools but they're very difficult to crimp very hard crimps due to my lack of hand strength. My hand strength has deteriorated through the years due to neuropathy, so it makes crimping with tools that need to be squeezed extra difficult. However, with this tool I was able to crimp some of the crimps it came with with ease. I was actually amazed. At first I thought maybe the crimps were softer so I grabbed my old crimpers and attempted to crimp these crimps with my old pair and I couldn't do it. It's this crimping tool that has allowed me to do it easier. I don't know if it's the design of the handle or it it allows for extra mechanical pressure, but it absolutely works for me. I can go back to crimping again without dreading the thought of doing so.

I was able to crimp with these tools effortlessly. The crimping tool worked well with my weights I set on the side of the rope. I am a beginner fishing and found these to be very useful. I am sure there are better usage outside of fishing, but I found these to be reliable for fishing and making loops around the house to hold equipment.
