I got this for a quick bed for sudden company. I seen to get sudden company often enough to get one of these futon pads rather than constantly scramble to get people situated. This is easier to get set up for children than a blow-up mattress. It's not as comfortable as a regular mattress but it works. It feels like a mattress topper, so if you can imagine sleeping on a mattress topper on the floor, you get the idea. Regular size sheets fit this fine, btw. It's bulky to store but it can be fan folded to make a seating area in the kids room when it's not being used as a bed.

Originally, I was planning to buy another mattress from the same brand priced at around $120 (full size). That mattress looked great and even came with a moisture-proof mat. However, the product description was not detailed enough, making it difficult for me to determine if it would suit my needs. While the product comes with a free return policy, I felt that returns would be costly for the seller and not environmentally friendly. So, I opted for this cheaper option because my main purpose was to add a layer to my existing mattress to enhance comfort. Even if it turned out to be the wrong choice, it wouldn’t affect me much. As it turns out, I made the right choice—this mattress is exactly what I needed. I hope the brand can provide more detailed product descriptions in the future, such as the composition and proportion of materials, pros and cons, etc.

I didn't use it on the floor. I actually used it as a mattress topper and I have to say it was comfy. I admit i was skeptical at the beginning because it was thin but turns out it was pretty good. Still have to try it on the floor though
