Paper inside is very low quality. The cover and pages get snagged on the spiral every time they’re turned.

Perfect size for keeping notes in order- and enough for many topics!

Cute colors, cover sturdiness is pretty good. It's a great value for your money.

Nice size. A bit smaller than "stanard" size. Fits on my end tables much better!

Steno pad is short for stenographer’s pad. The idea is you write with them on your lap. I know because i took Gregg shorthand in the last century. The backing on these is wobblier and more bendable than my cheapest legal pads.I thought I was getting steno pads in a smaller (5” x 8“) than typical (6” x 9“) size and that they would be firm. People who want real “steno” pads are my spouse who used to take notes in them as a journalist. Now he uses them to write a daily diary entry. He often writes outdoors on his lap. These are unacceptable to him, he says, as they bend. My solution is to glue a piece of firm cardboard to the bottom of each for him.So these pads are more of a large “assignment” notebook. The covers are shades of gray and tan. They are suitable for my own list-making. The ruled paper is nice quality and smooth. It feels good when you write. (Note that these are not “Gregg-ruled” lines—two columns with a vertical red line down the center, meant for speed writing.)Paper has gotten expensive, so the quality is okay for the price for assignment pads (about $2 apiece); however, if you comparison-shop, I think you can find the larger (and firmer), Gregg-ruled pads in the same quantity and price with a few more pages each.

Plain colors would be so much better.
