These automatic-advancing timing sprockets are as good as the originals, in my opinion - we're doing a mild rebuild on the short block of this engine and leaving the heads alone because they're pretty good, but I needed these phasers for the timing. I assess that they're strong and well made and can handle the pressures of advancing the overhead cams on this engine. The springs look stronger than the springs on the original that we removed.
