I hung these on a pipe stand and had a great time shooting them, mostly with 9mm. I found that it was important to face the hooks the correct way or they had the potential to slip out if the target was hit off center. Distance was a factor as well. The plates are solid and have no trouble handling the impact. The rotating mount allows the shrapnel to deflect downward upon impact. They are simple and easy to set up.

Works as designed. The only [minor] drawback, as others have mentioned, is that the targets will on occasion swing off of the hooks. Tried the zip-tie "remedy", and it helps most of the time. The hooks need more curve to them. I'll more than likely be purchasing some sturdy steel chain and carabiners from a local hardware store and replacing the hooks. Other than that, the targets themselves work well.

This worked beautifully. My Dad and I took a 10 foot pipe and cut it into one 38 inch piece for the cross bar and four 20.5 inch pieces for the legs. My family has spent a few nights plinking these targets with our 22s. The assembly was very easy and the steel plates are great quality. I haven't shot anything larger than a 22 at it yet and that was at about 40 yards. So I didn't have any issues with the plates falling off the hangers like other reviews have mentioned. However I can see that being an issue with a more powerful round. We were thinking of using a zip tie to secure the plate to the hanger. An inexpensive quick fix. Overall, my family and I are very pleased with this product.

I was skeptical at first, but boy, was I wrong. I ended up cutting all the EMT pipes to fit in a bucket with lid, and buying couplers as needed.
