My dog is still smol, 10 weeks old. He's light, but he needs help getting into the car. I wanted to get a ramp that would be usable now, but also in the future, but my biggest concern was that it wouldn't hold to the weight.Well let me just say, I can walk up this ramp, myself!It folds up nice and neat so it takes up virtually no room in my trunk (just fold and lay flat), but it can hold up to 250 pounds and you can TELL it's not going to give out on you.Highly recommended, I love this ramp!

Plagued with aging hips. My guy is still the fastest dog at the dog park but then realizes that speed comes at a cost the second he goes to jump back in the car. At 10 years old he is still pretty spry but that german shepherd in him is giving him some hip displasia and muscle wasting so he gets sore after a long day on the move. This was perfect for him to hop back in the truck. Packs away really nicely with the bar on the one side acting as a handle for easy carrying. It also has a clip at one end when extended that you can clip to the trunk latch to keep this from falling while your dog is getting in, keep the whole thing more stable. What is great about this one compared to others is that its a solid base ramp. No slots or holes for toes for feet to get stuck in, also opens flushly and stays fully flat so no worries about pinched feet. Just watch your own hands when unfolding it, its best to lay it on its side at first on the ground and not try to unfold it in the air, you will pinch your fingers if you try to open this in the air. Careful! Once opened though its nice and sturdy, i even walked up and down it and I'm a buck and a half so this is a solid ramp. The carpet gives it nice grip even in the snow, ice, and wet conditions we've had lately. Easy to fold up and load up or carry off to the side of the garage for storage. If you are looking to try a well made dog ramp, this is a great option that I would trust.
