The mount is attached to a very sturdy, fully adjustable, pre-assembled metal tripod with rubber feet. The Galileo G-545 optical tube assembly features a 500mm focal length. The objective lens is an 45mm objective lens. The finderscope is 3x and features a crosshair reticle which helps by getting the observer behind the telescope without losing the surrounding field of view when targeting objects. I am keeping up with this new manufacturer because I totally agree that the Galileo spirit. Trail blazin through the milkyway with small scopes. Proving that the telescope is more than just a big mirror or lens. It is quest behind it and system of finder, mount, and stability that sustains it. With the help of a decent eyepiece and dark sky, of course. RC
