It's a great model, but the instructions are a little unclear. Also I had a couple pieces that weren't even in the instructions, so I have no clue what to do with them. Not extra.. not listed. What else should I expect from 3 different yeared sprews though. 1 was from 1999, 2 from 2001, and 1 from 2006.

Take a look at the latest codex and possible load outs to plan your build BEFORE you build! I had impulses from Combat Patrol boxes, and built a Rhino from this kit so I cut it apart and salvaged a Razorback to give me more a little more use out of this transport with available points for my list and backup list.

I’m an ork player and turned this into a looted vehicle, very great kit. I have yet to paint it but no doubt it’ll turn out beautifully.

Great addition to any space marine army. Quick and easy to assemble. Could do with more weapon options for the turret than just twin heavy bolter/lascannons though.

This is an awesome tank at a good price this tank is perfect for my army, Black Templars because i put 5 initiates with sword and pistol and put one emperors champion (because it transports 6). this makes an awesome assault vehicle i just drive up disembark and shoot the machine gun at the enemy and then charge with Black Templars. Nuff said

bought it for me kid, and was pleasantly surprised to find it not only has extra parts for the heavy twin linked back bolter and twin linked lascannon as advertised, but it also has extra space marine parts to make a driver and gunner with a smaller twin linked heavy bolter, which they don't mention as often. all in all, good freaking kit.

If you are a Black Templar player, it's a unwritten law that you must own at least one Land Raider Crusader! ITS THE LAW! I got this thru troll tactics as well for the better value when I ordered $300 in space marines for a boyfriend's birthday who is a Templar. He went ballistic over it! I recommand this as the perfect gift by itself for any SM player! Great value and one od the toughest models ever in 40k! I recommand that you build at least one land raider or a few rhino-related vehicles before trying a Crusader, it's met to look good, unlike a first attempt at making a model tank. A Crusader has a lot of bitz and glue involved.
