I was changing my rollers and thought I would give these a try. They might work for some applications and industrial garage doors, but they do not fit in the hinges of either of my garage doors. I tried forcing them a little and then the plastic would just bend. See pictures as that is the furthest they would go in before bending. For a residential garage, I do not think these are the ones.

Happy to recommend this Garage Door Hinge Roller Sleeves from the FORLETOR Store. These 11mm ID 80mm Length dampens what used to be the metal to metal vibrations between the roller shaft and its corresponding. It took a while - it wasn’t hard, just time consuming - but the outcome was worth it! Definitely made a big difference with the noise generated every time the garage door was activated. Looks to be of good quality, but only time can tell. Competitively priced.

These were sized perfectly for my garage door rollers. They are used to quiet the roller shafts and keep the shafts from rattling in the metal tubes that the roller shafts slide into. These tubes are secured by a pinch washer that slides onto the shaft. They may or may not be necessary but it’s nice for the sleeves are secured. The sleeves make a noticeable difference in suppressing the door noise and easily rate five stars from me!
