I'm not using it to protect the wall, I'm using it to protect the doors from getting dinged on the garage racks. I cut it to size, it sticked really well and it protects the door.

My 2 car garage has a center post. I have always hated it because the car doors hits it when exiting the vehicle. This material is a rubber/foam like substance. It did stick to the center post well and seems to be holding well, so the adheasive seems good. It wont last forever but its not falling off after a week. It has worked well for protecting my door and center post in the garage from damage. This roll is enough for 1 vehicle in a 1 car garage i would estimate. You can cut it down into smaller sizes and stretch out where you actually need to place it for contact points.
