Had blown head gaskets on 2006 Chevy Uplander 3.5 motor, so got heads rebuilt and this gasket kit. Would have appreciated an ID sheet but did figure out pretty much where every seal went, though some appear optional, as in either/or; When I put the lower injector orings on, it seemed the injectors went into the bores a little 'too easy', but figured maybe an engineering thing; and then the upper manifold gaskets are paper vs the original metal/rubber, and very brittle, yep, one of them split; got the motor together, and started, and got fault codes for lean condition, low vacuum, and running hot; fuel trims at +29%, so indicates false air in the intake somewhere; pulled the upper intake back off, found injectors pretty loose in the bottom orings, and the paper manifold gasket had cracked; so ordered geniune GM orings and gaskets (metal with rubber seal) today, hopefully takes care of intake air leaks. sometimes the best deal is not really the best deal.***After all injector o-rings and upper intake manifold gasket replaced with Genuine GM Parts the air leaks are gone; fuel trims back to negative; lean codes cleared; overheating issue gone; Ran the motor for over 40 minutes with no new fault codes; I do NOT recommend using the injector o-rings or the paper manifold gasket from this kit; use better quality parts so you only have to do the job once!
