This windshield frame was a great fit for my cj5 project. I was concerned because some of the reviews said the mounting holes were drilled wrong. I became even more concerned when I test fit it and the holes didn’t line up. After closer inspection the threaded holes are not actually drilled into the windshield frame, but are a bracket inside the frame that you can move. I used a center punch and was able to get them to line up perfectly. The only reason I took off a star is because the drilled holes for the defroster vents were off just a little. Not a huge deal, just an annoyance. Also, the foam they glue to the corners for shipping is incredibly fun to remove. Overall though I would recommend it as a very affordable replacement windshield frame for the cj5.

This is our second return we have had to make.Our first return was due to misaligned holes - machine error fine whatever we get it, it happens sometimes so we opted for a replacement.This second one is just unacceptable, it arrived in perfect packaging yet inside the package completely mangled. Where is the quality control??The only positive thing I have to say is both shipments arrived fairly quickly.

Not installed yet so won't know until we get it put in. Metal thickness is a little on the thinner side compared to OEM. Hopefully there will be no issues since it's going on an off road jeep. Construction wise it looks to be quality made.
