These landscape clippers are exactly what I needed for maintaining the boxwood shrubs that surround my house. I’ve found that boxwoods need a sharp, accurate hand trim, and these give a clean, professional-looking cut.The blades are high-quality steel and are sharp, which is essential for the tight, tidy look boxwoods require. I especially like that they don’t pinch my knuckles, a common annoyance, but one that makes a big difference after an hour or two of trimming. They’re just the right size—sturdy but not too heavy—and they feel well-balanced in hand. That balance is key if you don’t want your hands and shoulders to be sore after working for a while. The nice handles and shock bumpers also help reduce fatigue, and the wavy blade edges do a great job of keeping stems from slipping during the cut.If you’re looking for precise control and clean results, especially on boxwoods or other detailed shrubs, these are a great choice. I’m very happy with how sharp and well-groomed my landscaping looks.

Good pruners to have around the house for in between landscaper visits. Easy to use even for someone who doesn't do lots of yard work. Great for those stray skinnier branches that suddenly appear and mess up the view or have gotten mangled from a storm or heavy wind. Good yard basic clean up tool for a homeowner.

These are excellent. They're heavy-duty and super sharp, and they open wide to give you momentum for snipping. In just minutes, I had hacked through an overgrown lavender bush -- even the woody parts. (Photos show before and after.) The blades are long so they cut a lot in one pass, and the shears are lightweight, so my arms didn't even get tired. (And that's coming from someone who's 5'5" and 140 pounds and not super strong.) Definitely recommend.

These shears appear pretty sturdy and well made but did not do a good job of cutting through tall dead grass stalks.I was trying to shear off last years growth from some little bluestem grass and it really struggled with it even though I was only trying to cut a small portion at a time. If I were to bunch the small portion, it was maybe an inch in diameter but it was fanned/spread out so I didn't think it would have any issue cutting through them but it took several cuts as it would bind up and not cut through them. Perhaps these dead grass stalks are tougher than I imagined.I tried this on some bushes and it trimmed those without any issue but it was just cutting tiny stemmed branches and not anything large in diameter or tough.Regardless, I mainly bought this for cutting back dead grass from several varieties of native grasses in the Spring so it's been a disappointment. My hand pruners have no problem cutting through the grass when I grab a handful and cut them. I just figured this would give me a more clean and even cut.

The quality of these shears is much better than I was expecting for this price point. They are surprisingly sharp and even cut the cardboard box they came in with ease. I appreciate the curve in the blade because it keeps the stems from sliding as you cut. Overall I am very satisfied with these during initial use. I will have to see how well the sharpness holds up with prolonged use.

These hedge shears are sharp, lightweight, and easy to handle. The SK5 high carbon steel blades cut cleanly through thick shrubs without sticking, and the non-stick coating helps keep things smooth. I appreciated the shock-absorbing bumpers—they really reduce hand fatigue, especially on longer garden days. The handles feel sturdy without being heavy, which makes them easy to control for shaping hedges or bushes. They’re a practical addition to any home gardening setup, especially if you’re keeping things tidy without power tools.

These are decent quality hedge shears that work well to trim back some of my overgrown bushes and other hedge-like plants. The handles are strong but lightweight as promised, and I do like the slightly wavy edges on the blades as it seems to help with their grip. Not suitable when I tried them on anything resembling an actual branch, but that's not what these are made for or how they are advertised, as they are listed as ideal for tall grass and hedges.

I think this is a very high quality tool for the price. The blades are very sharp. The handles are secure and well spaced. No risk of slamming your knuckles together.I find that the ratio of the handle length to the blades gives you enough cutting power to get through some thicker vines and branches. Really like these.
