Bought it to hang a new water hose I bought. And it looks nice ! It's easy to hang the hose around. I've had it for a while and it hasn't moved, so it's pretty sturdy. The price I paid was worth it. Functions just like any other hose holder, but looks nicer. P

Color was a bit more reddish orange than brown but after weathering I think it will be great. Like the product.

I just got my hands on this freestanding garden hose holder, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer for my chaotic backyard. Installation was a breeze – no drilling, just simple assembly with the included screws – which was a relief because I'm more of a 'follow-the-picture' kind of gal anyway. The design is practical but also has some flair; it doesn't just screams ‘utility’ but rather whispers ‘elegance’ amidst my flower beds. Having four spikes means it stays put, which is essential when you have kids and a hyper Lab running around; you don't want a topple disaster waiting to happen. I must admit, it was nice to see my husband a little jealous of something that wasn’t his latest tech gadget for a change! It holds up a good length of hose and keeps it neat and off the ground, which I'm sure will prolong its life and keep the yard tidy. It feels well-made, sturdy, and the color is a lovely complement to my outdoor aesthetic. My initial reaction when I took it out of the box was "eww - I don't like that finish on the metal at all". But, it was already purchased and opened, and it's a garden hose holder for goodness sakes, so I started assembly. Assembly instructions are not comprehensive, but then they really don't need to be. Each piece only fits into one place ... keep putting pieces and bolts in until there are none left! The individual pieces are sturdy, and once assembled the whole thing feels very solid. I had some concerns initially about the spikes on the bottom and whether the hose would make it top-heavy and fall over because I was putting mine into a gravel area so the top couple of inches really wouldn't hold the spikes that well. Turned out not to be an issue for me especially at this location because there is a lightweight metal hose in this spot.I can't find my pics of the finished product, and it's dark outside right now so I'll take a few later this morning. And I still wonder if the painted on finish will last, but even if it doesn't as long as it's functional I'm not looking for a Picasso hose holder!
