Garden Hose taps are often at a premium, and having to choose between (for example) a GHT water valve timer and a standard hose bib can be a bummer. This divider solves that problem. This three way standard GHT divider is a practical and well built option for anyone splitting a single GHT outlet to multiple hoses. It is especially effective for multiple timer controller options on GHT based single zone timers.That's how I'm using it. One of these cross-style dividers serving two timers, with the third outlet reserved for a simple 10' service hose with sprayer. It is nice to be able to physically connect the two timers on opposite sides of the cross-shaped divider, leaving the straight-through high-flow port for the standard garden hose for filling up my hand-watering bucket.The physical orientation of the outlet ports of this cross-type design means the plastic timer bodies do not bump into or impede each other. This is not the case on linear manifolds. On most linear style manifolds the timers simply won't fit, or if they do the buttons and displays are inaccessible or impeded in some way.This valve avoids that problem by the simple expedient of having the ports 180 opposite of each other. Each timer can have plenty of space to exist, and the third straight-thru port continues to serve as the standard hose bib for utility hand watering.I find the service regulating valves to be most useful, if a bit stiff to turn on and off. No problem for me, but if you have arthritic fingers or hands, you'll want to have a little helper tool to turn them. No big deal, just FYI for the folks with hand strength limitations. This is normal for ANY valve of this type, and in no way does this represent a flaw in this particular device.Overall, five stars. Study clean casting, no-lead alloy, clean well cut threads that fit U.S. standard GHT (Garden Hose Thread) Kit Includes gaskets and teflon tape (but why? Rubber gaskets do not require teflon tape) I guess they were just being careful. :-)Recommended for anyone who wants to divide a single GHT into multiple zones.

Heavy brass splitter with ball valves that seal well. Initially I found the butterfly levers impossible to move without a tool of some kind. I assume they will loosen up with use. Would prefer the levers to be larger, but they are OK and the valve is of high quality. By comparison, I would believe the splitters with outlets that all point downward are a better choice. I have some of both and the horizontal outputs like this one puts some strain on the hose fitting unless supported.

The way these ports are configured makes this incredibly easy to install as well as tighten. I am able to easily turn it by hand without hitting the wall and my small wrench fits to tighten it the rest of the way. I constantly change my hoses and turn ports on and off so with any other hose splitter I’ve used it will begin leaking quite frequently and eventually stops keeping a seal all together. So far this has stayed in place and has not leaked a bit. Excellent quality and the heavy duty brass means I can leave it out in the winter without it cracking like the plastic ones do. I did my best to photograph how narrow the space is that this was able to turn in, which is one of my favorite parts about this item, makes it so easy to tighten and stay in place.

I ordered this 3 way hose splitter because I am finally installing drip irrigation, and this should help me with watering various areas of the yard. The splitter attached easily to the spigot and it does not leak. I like the convenience of turning various hoses off and on at the spigot, rather than having to drage the hose around the yard to the 3 different area, and spending hours watering. The box did include a roll of plumber's tape and 5 rubber washers as well, which I thought was a nice addition.The entire splitter, other than the tape and washers, is metal. The open and close knobs and the interior device that turns to block the water off - it is all metal! I really like this, as plastic parts tend to deteriorate in the sun and the weather. Despite the fact that I thought I'd ordered the other shape, I am happy with this item.

Good quality solid metal. But make sure to use the QR code that comes with the hose splitter to register for the lifetime warranty, as the link for that on their website doesn’t work and they don’t respond to emails sent to support@yelun.net. That makes me a bit concerned about how I would ever get warranty service if I needed it……

I use a lot of hoses around my home. A good splitter is key to get good pressure. When i saw the YELLUN 3 way high flow splitter I decided to give it a try.PIC1 (I have labeled each picture in the upper right corner because they do not always appear in the order I add them to the review) shows what you get. This includes the 3 way splitter, 3 extra washers and some tape.The splitter is made out of brass and the ball valves are 304 stainless steel. The material is heavy duty (i.e. not thin).The inlet inside diameter is .722in which is very good for low flow restriction (assuming the spicket you connect it to has 3/4 inch pipes). Each of the 3 outlet diameters is .5 inch.This is a very heavy duty splitter. The only thing that would have been nice would be to have longer handles to turn the valves on/off. Most of the splitters I have used get harder to turn on and off as they age. At this time it is not hard to turn the valves on and off.If you are looking for a heavy duty 3 way splitter with inlet and outlet diameters larger than most splitters you should consider the YELLUN 3 way high flow splitter. It will get the job done!
