I thought it was metal but it’s plastic. No directions and was a bit hard to figure out, I had to go to Amazon page to keep looking at trellis picture to figure out how it went together. Still not bad for the price but would rather have metal.

Low quality Materials are used to assemble this product. The rings are plastic. The poles are lightweight metal. They bent easily under the weight of the plant.

I like the shape, but the design is not sturdy. I had to tape every joint, still not very sturdy, hopefully it works for a while. If not, I might have to add extra bars to support it.

Plastic and no directions. You need to refund everyone who order this . Like so many others, I expected metal . That there were not even assembly directions is a disgrace. SHAME ON Amazon . Years of trust has been damaged . Gary Magruder

The upright parts are made of very lightweight flimsy hollow metal tubes coated in plastic. The circular ring parts are made of flimsy plastic that snap together. I am not sure it is strong enough to do the job that I bought it for. I am not sure it will last. Very overpriced for what you actually get. It did arrive fast by Fedex and it looks OK for plastic. Will it fade? Will it last in the sun?When it comes to selling you a metal/ steel trellis this is definitely False Advertising! Otherwise if you are looking for something to grow a very lightweight plant on - like maybe green beans- this might work for you.

One piece cam broken and I contacted a seller from China. I was amazed that they sent me a replacement part right away. Excellent customer service. It is not very sturdy, you might want to enforce it with some wire, but for the price it works and looks great.
