Fish Sticks make it easier to install wire through walls, above ceilings, or underneath carpet - anywhere you might encounter obstacles that would cause a standard fish tape to "fold" under pressure. Glo Fish Sticks are made from luminescent fiberglass that glows in the dark, improving visibility and making it easier to see your intended path or any obstructions to maneuver as needed. Each three foot rod features an interlocking end allowing you to connect them together to achieve the length needed for the job. Package also includes two changeable end attachments - a bullet nose to guide the stick smoothly on the way towards the end of the run and a hook attachment for pulling or pushing the wire through the run.

This fish stick is thicker than the ones I have used in the past, which is fine, it allowed me to add one more section. If you are expecting to have a bright glow, not so much. If you are working above ceiling tiles, normally you are using a bright light, so the glow is not that important.

They match the 5' fiberglas sticks that I already have. So I can screw these new ones together with my old ones to make a 30' stick!!

Love my new sticks and attachments. Made for a super easy installing and wire pulling. Attachments (hook) made very easy to grab cables in tight areas I couldn’t reach or crawl too. Flexible enough to fish down interior walls. Only thing I’m not impressed with is the glow. Left out in the FL sun for 1+ hours during my drilling of 6 holes. Once the rods went into the attic. Was a little hard to find because the lack of glow after soaking up for over an hour. Luckily I have a beast headset with 10000 lumens.

Much cheaper than the Klein and appear to be identical. I've used these for 6 months now and these have performed as well as the Klein. I also have a set of cheap ones - they yellow ones, and these are far superior and easily reparable on site of an end breaks off - as will happen when your pulling a mile of cable.

Not great at all. Very little flex. The first time I went to use them and had the entire set assembled, it broke. The weight of the set alone was enough to snap the end off. Very poor quality.

Of the two sets of sticks that I have, these ones have a slightly more ridgid feel to them.. They are better for moving through open areas, such as dropped ceilings.. Not so good for tight bends, but great quality none the less..

I bought the glow rods to fish some speaker wire through the walls in a home theater installation. They worked good, easy to see(I left them in direct sun for about 3 hours before use), were just flexible enough to get them in the wall from the attic(with 2-3 feet of space), and the hook end made my day much easier(I did bend the hook in more, so that it did not catch on insulation etc.). The only complaint I would have about them is I bent one and it started to split slightly, along the length of the rod. I don't know if it was too far but I bent all of the rods to fit in the same space, but only the one split, and I got some nasty fiberglass splinters from it. I quickly learned not to slide my hand when feeding or retrieving the glow rods. Other than that they got the job done.

This is a bad product. It looks like your typical flexible glow rod set, but they are not flexible at all. In fact, they are easily broken. Mine arrived broken and I did not ask for a replacement after I discovered how they were made. I got a refund. Bigger name glow rods are expensive, but you might as well spend the extra money. Don't waste your time or money on this product.

Those light sticks made my camera installation on my house a lot easier when it came to the wiring in the attic. Those sticks show up great in minimal lighting conditions as you will have in an attic. A must have for anyone doing any wiring be it do it your selfer or a pro. Money well spent.
