If I could give this carrier 10 stars, I would!! It is so well made and they have thought of everything. I especially love the expandable compartments. On my first unpacking, one of my kitties settled in on the soft pad and got zipped up. He loved it. Now if that isn't 10 stars, I don't know what is!

We purchased this for an international flight, and based on the listed measurements of 17x11x9, it was perfect... however, the actual measurements are 16x11x11... the airline rejected the carrier because their height limit was 9"! (The other measurements were well within their required specs.)

Great if you keep the sides unzipped. Once folded in the compartment was too small for my cat to comfortably fit.

This carrier is quite nice, with multiple ways of carrying it and multiple ways of using it. It's slightly cramped when fully collapsed, but that's good for transport purposes since you don't want your pet to have too much room during transit. It opens up to a quite good size for allowing a pet to acclimate to a new environment. It's really nice that it can be opened in several places, it makes it much easier to avoid releasing the pet unintentionally.

This pet carrier is really nice and roomy for your pet. It’s got comfortable pads inside for TJ wet n to lay on and is perfect for trips to the vet or traveling. The zippers work great and are heavy duty. They also don’t have any weird smells or anything. I definitely recommend this!

This carrier would be comfortable for a cat maybe up to 10 to 12 pounds. As you can’t really carry it expanded, it would need to be comfortable for an animal completely zipped up. I have Maine coons and had hoped that this would be suitable for them, and I don’t really think it’s meant to hold my 22 pound boy. It’s just a little too short length-wise for that. It is taller inside than most soft sided carriers so that is a plus.Here are the things that I liked: it’s pretty easy to expand with the zippers and just takes a few seconds. I like that there are multiple entry points – you can put the cat in from the sides when they are fully expanded and from the front. It has pockets on one end and a zippered pocket on one side. It also has a zippered pocket in the very top to hold the backpack straps and the shoulder strap. The trim has wire inside to keep it upright and not squish down even when it is fully opened. It has a thin piece of particleboard to help keep it rigid in the very bottom when you are carrying it. I also like that there are provided straps with buckles on one side for you to put a seatbelt through in the car to keep it anchored. You can also use them to slip it over a luggage handle in the airport.What I didn’t like quite as much is that the loops and hooks to attach straps are all made of plastic. I really would’ve preferred to see metal to make it more durable. The plastic clips seem like they won’t last all that long, especially if you’re carrying a heavy animal. Also when closing the sides after having it expanded, it’s a little tricky to tuck all of the mesh back in so it doesn’t crowd the animal on the inside. You have to fold it just so and tuck it underneath the board on the bottom so it stays, otherwise it encroaches the space. I wish the board in the bottom was also expandable to include the larger floor space when you have it open all the way. As it is, my cat’s claws could get stuck in the mesh or damage my car seat seats. I would need to put a blanket or something underneath if I expanded it while traveling.Overall, I think this is quite useful for giving extra space to an animal for long trips. Obviously, you couldn’t expand it like that on a plane because it wouldn’t fit under the seat, but in a car, I think it would make your pet much more comfortable.
