My cats went crazy for this. They figured out how to turn it on in the middle of the night so they kept themselves busy. This is a must have for any cat parent. The downside of this toy is I could not find any replacement toys to go on it. That was a bummer for me. It would be nice to have additional options for toys or even parts in case something breaks.

My cats love it. Only reason I took off a star was because my kitten broke the wands on top in less than a day. They still play with it without them. But couldn't find replacement parts for it either.

I have a rambunctious, 8 month old male cat who’s bored daily and requires constant play. Much as I’d love to, I just can’t spend my entire day playing with Scout and to counteract his boredom he explores places he’s been told we don’t want him to climb, sit or destroy. This toy immediately grabbed his attention! It has multiple functions to use independently or together for a truly crazy toy. He’s content to use the hidden “mouse” that runs under cover randomly, for over an hour. However, while the other cat is content to sit and wait for the mouse to circle back to him, Scout likes to take a running leap on it, simultaneously pouncing on top of and below the fabric to expose the feather-capped wand. I can see other toys breaking after such rough use but this one has held up, charge after charge for several days now. The sound isn’t really like an animal I’m familiar with but it seems to egg him on and doesn’t bother me while I’m reading or watching TV. I keep him supervised because of the moving parts! The laser is a vibrant red, very bright and again its movement is random. I’m very thankful for this toy since I can get free time to fold laundry or watch TV and he’s entertained. It keeps him from jumping on our stuff or running around making weird noises because he’s bored. For me, this is worth a million and I only wish I’d found it sooner. It’s held up to his rough treatment and as long as he’s playing under supervision I feel it’s a safe toy for this bored and rambunctious kitty. Highly recommend even if your cat isn’t Dr Destructo.

This came with a little bit of charge. The instructions are in lots of languages, but it doesn't tell where the snakes go. The instuctions weren't all that great.Despite all of that, this is an amazing cat toy! The little bit of charge was able to keep going for hours of entertainment.I only expected maybe a couple of my cats to be interested in it. No, alllll 7 cats were interested in it, and taking turns playing with it at the same time. One was more interested in the laser though. They kept going for hours. I don't think I've ever seen anything hold their interest for that long.I would definitely recommend getting this. The price is right, and to he honest, I'd pay $20 more for it knowing how amazing this is.The only drawback that I can think of is that this brand needs to sell replacement pieces. So far, the skirt (called a peek-a-boo for this toy) has withstood many cat claws trying to catch what's under it. Same thing for the wand underneath. I would like to be able to purchase additional peek-a-boo skirts and the bottom wands so this toy doesn't become useless once the cats eventually destroy them.If I were to suggest a redesign, I would get rid of the ball ring. I have never ever seen a cat play with those. And I would also suggest having separate buttons for the laser and peek-a-boo play. The cats became insanely confused when both were going at the same time. The mode button goes from peek-a-boo, to peek-a-boo and laser, to just laser. You can also leave off the highest speed. That's just to fast for cats and they get very confused and don't want to play, almost scared of it.Overall, I definitely recommend this toy. It was hours of fun watching all of the cats have hours of fun themselves.
