Crushing garlic has never been this simple. Comfortable grip, great results, and cleanup is a breeze.

this press is a good idea, but I am an older woman and you must have a lot of upper body strength to crush the cloves through this rocker.

This press is very easy to use. It takes a little extra pressure at first to bite into the garlic clove, but then the rocking motion is easy and there's very little waste. I definitely prefer it to the squeeze-type garlic presses. Recommended!

Usually, I buy minced garlic in the jar. However, I started a subscription to Hello, Fresh, which is a home delivery service of pre-packaged dinners that you prep and cook yourself. Many of the meals I pick use garlic. It is given in a clove so I have to chop it up myself. I found that I was wasting too much trying to dice it up with a knife so I bought this press. I feel as if I'm wasting even more because the pieces get caught up in the holes and I have a difficult time scraping them out for use. Since the pre-package meal comes with only one clove to use for that meal, I don't have a back up to increase the amount since I lose so much in the press. For that reason, I removed one star. Other than that, the press is easy to use. It fits my hand perfectly.

Seems like a good idea, but I was not able to get the garlic to mince. I pressed but I did not have enough strength to push Gaelic clove through to get it minced, I got squashed Garlic cloves instead.Sticking with traditional garlic press

When I first ordered this thing I was like, "How bad can it be?".When I first went to use it, I was not "trained" on how to use it.I put 5 cloves of garlic on my cutting board and tried to "press them".Bad idea.If you place 1 clove of garlic on your board at a time and have a great deal of strength, this is the best press you'll ever buy. I can say with 100% certainty I have ZERO WASTE with this press. I used to throw away "unpressed" garlic from regular "squeeze type" presses. With this press, you press down and scrape the board, press down and scrape the board. And you repeat that process until all of the garlic is perfectly pressed and on the other side of the press.I love this thing! With that said, if you're a 4 foot 11 inch tall grandma, this thing is NOT going to work for you. Not unless you've got a serious set of pythons! :PIt is really very well made, it FEELS sturdy, cleans EASY.Get one!

Easier to use than the regular squeeze type garlic press if you lack hand strength. It's a good idea to slice the cloves first to make it easier to mince.
