This unit was supposed to fit the Garmin 441S and 541S both of which I own and have a 5 pinplug which does not match product as advertised. Product was returned and sourced elsewhere.

My transducer for my 740s broke off and went to the bottom of the sound. This was a perfect replacement and the most affordable option I found.

I replaced the existing transponder (same model) on the boat. The previous transponder wires had become frayed after 14 years of salt water. Reused the existing mounting bracket, reran the cable, plugged in, worked like a charm.

This transducer worked perfectly for my old (circa 2000) Garmin Fishfinder160. The signal of the old original transducer got weaker and weaker to the point where it could not read the bottom. The clicking sound in the transducer stopped. I attached this updated transducer to the brackets on the hull of the boat, screwed the cable end onto the cable from the fishfinder, turned the power on, and the result, a perfect signal and read-out. Now, if I could only catch the fish displayed on the screen.

Installed well and seems to work fine. Had same model that was installed in the bilge but it didn't work all the time and didn't give accurate water temps. Installed this one on the transom.
