There's not much there. I wore it on a public beach in the DR while on a cruise. Thankfully only my wife was with me. I felt the eyes on me as I came out of the water. But my wife LOVED it, so I guess it's good.

These are my favorite suits I wear everyday! The coated fabrics aren't as stretchy so at 5-11 220# I need a LG...whereas in plain nylon spandex models I can wear smaller sizes

This sexy swimsuit fits like a glove and is very sexy, it has a very snug fit, and gets lots of pleasant responses when worn at a "clothing optional" beach. I didn't feel the need for the drawstring since it fits tight (size in pic is a medium). I really like the look and feel of the fabric which is 92% polyester / 8% spandex..

Here’s my review of them as legit swim briefs, and not as anything else:I’m thoroughly impressed. This is the first pair of swim briefs that I’ve found genuinely comfortable without crushing your stuff. I’ve uploaded front and side profile views with it dry and wet. Overall I think it does a fantastic job on all fronts!One note: after swimming, you may want to readjust yourself before getting out. Because it’s a little bit looser, if you’ve shrunk from the cold water + exercise, and are sticking straight out, because there’s extra room in the front it will stick out and be more noticeable than traditional swim briefs which would compress it more to make it less noticeable.Overall: colour, fit, comfort, quality, all gets 5/5.

My point of reference for all bikini swimsuits is the Speedo Men's “Swimsuit Brief Powerflex Eco Solar”, also known as the “1 inch” bikini. I’m 5’-6”, 136 lbs., wear 30 inch trousers, have a tight little butt, and I’m straight. My go-to bathing suit has been the Speedo Solar Size 30 for more than a decade. The Speedo Solar Sz. 30 fits me reliably and quite tightly and has a low rise. After all, that’s the point of Spandex to stretch and fit tightly - the same as all of my cycling clothes. The photo shows the Gary Majdell Sz. Small in comparison to the Speedo Solar Sz. 30.I’ve tried numerous no-name bikinis from Amazon and always come back to the Speedo. This time I ordered a Gary Majdell Contour Pouch Bikini in Sz. Small and Medium and the Small is the keeper. But there’s a significant trade-off between it and the Speedo Solar: although the GM has a much more pronounced pouch it has has quite a bit more coverage. I wouldn’t call this a “bikini” - it is really a “brief”.Pros:• Sz. Small fits me fine (but could be a little tighter).• Very nice material and construction, although fabric is a little stretchier than Speedo.• I really like the wide (1”) waistband.• Nice contoured pouch construction, provides plenty of package space while not being droopy. The pouch provides sufficient support that you could run in these. The Speedo, by contrast, holds the package very tightly probably to protect the boys during diving.• Lining in front prevents view of the outline of the peen.• Less expensive than Speedo.• Not made in Asia – they are still made in Canada.Cons:• Too much coverage, particularly on the sides and butt.• These run slightly large. Although the Sz. Medium is not baggy on me, it isn’t even remotely tight and provides even more coverage than the small.• Some that prefer more modesty may not like the contoured pouch – the Speedo would be better for them.• Drawstring will come off in the wash if not tied.Perhaps I need to try the Gary Majdell “Greek Bikini”, although it doesn’t appear to have the nice contoured pouch and waistband that these do.

The metallic is already fading from a few dips in the pool. Cute but not interested in this fabric if it fades.

I am a 36 waist and the large size fit ok. The pouch is a little tight for those that are above average.
