Leak-proof Design
The nozzle cap tube and nozzle have two thread designs: coarse thread and fine thread. Each nozzle cap is designed with a thick rubber seal inside, which can better fit the gasoline container. Just tighten the nozzle cap to form a leak-proof design. Sealed, no oil will leak even when transported or with the tank top down.
Universal Compatibility
Our gas can spout replacement kit boasts superior compatibility, suitable for most 1/2/5/10 gal oil cans, fitting oil jug mouths ranging from 1.7in to 1.82in. The length of the hose has been extended to 8.1in, ensuring greater convenience and flexibility.

ONLY fits containers with a 1.75" O.D. Output Spout. My Craftsman 5 Gallon Gas Containers have a 2" O.D. Spout so the kit is worthless. The Craftsman containers have lasted more than 20 years, but the spouts are shot and this kit does nothing to help remedy that. Mention is made, but with wish they had emphasized this in the description rather than inferring it it was "Universal Compatibility. Our gas can spout replacement kit boasts superior compatibility, suitable for most 1/2/5/10 gal oil cans, fitting oil jug mouths ranging from 1.7in to 1.82in." At the very least they should have defined if the measurements were I.D. or O.D. Live and learn.

These replaced some old cans nozzles i had that have previsouly damaged and were no longer functional and were basically just "caps". I'm so glad that i no longer have to swap can nozzles out when i want to use the next can.

If you are like me and hate the newish types of spouts on gas cans, these are a great replacement. I like the free flow with the added vent. If you tighten these down, there is no leak. The spout is flexible enough that you can put it in the gas tank before you tilt the can for gas to flow. No more trying to put a tab on the tank and push the whole thing down or whatever other method they have used.
