Installation steps：
1.Unscrew the fuel tank door screw.
2.Fasten the holder along the small groove of the fuel tank door and tighten the screw.
3.Put the gas cap into the holder and tighten it to the right.
4.Rotate left to unscrew the gas cap and put it into the fuel tank seat.

Very quick and easy to install. Can’t go wrong for the price and solves a huge problem of your gas cap hanging there when you’re filling with gas. I cut the factory tether strap, cause I hate those things.

This does exactly what it says, it holds the gas cap properly so it doesn't dangle and get gasoline over your paint. Very easy install (just ONE screw). Definitely recommend spending the few bucks on this holder, vs the janky method of stretching the gas cap leash and snapping it from doing what wasn't designed for.This should last the lifetime of the truck, so no need to buy another (unless I buy another tacoma)

Have had for a while now and cannot believe Toyota didn’t put these on from factory. This went on perfectly and works great. I’d buy again and definitely recommend.
