If you know what you’re doing, you can be safe, but if you don’t read the directions, the quality of this burner is unbelievable good it is cast it can break but if you treat it well it’ll treat you well and the design definitely makes sure that you put out enough heat everywhere and a lot of of it Using very little of propane

Bought for a butcher kettle so we didn’t have to burn wood anymore. This thing works amazing gotta run it on low because it works so well for the job. Very well made and the screws on the bottom give a very easy mounting spot for the stand. Very even burn and wind doesn’t have a chance to blow this thing out. Very please and highly recommend

If you're looking to cook on a rocket engine, this burner is for you! With the air adjusted right it roars LOUDLY at full throttle with pure-blue flames reaching 6 inches high, impractical for most uses but practical for something like an 80-quart crawfish boil. I'm welding together a stove to accommodate this burner, and I bought this so I could use a wok properly or better yet, cook smash-burgers at the correct temperature, but I'm going to double down and build a bigger stove for dutch ovens and crawfish boils. This burner is too beautiful to not be utilized to its full potential.

Bought to convert my maple syrup evaporator from wood to propane. First, the brass connector was screwed in crooked and was cross threaded. I had to use my tap and die set to fix that, no big deal. Next, the bag the regulator came in claimed it was a 10ft low pressure regulator but it was a 4 ft high pressure regulator, again no biggie whatever.The deal breaker came after less than 8 hours of use. Sap was boiling and I started to smell gas. About an hour before this I had a delivery of propane for my home and started to walk towards those tanks to make sure there wasn't a problem there. Thank goodness I was about 50 ft from the burner when I heard a loud whoosh and turned to see a flame shooting out of the regulator hose. Switched in the regulator from my 20 year old bayou classic that I had been using for my finishing pot and had no problems after that.Overall poor quality control and an outright dangerous regulator.

I grafted a side table to my pellet grill to hold a small griddle and needed a burner to heat it. I was unhappy with smaller burners because of uneven heating on the griddle surface. I figured this large burner would do a better job. It does heat the griddle evenly using very little throttle. This is overkill for my application and I love it!The griddle is removable to expose the burner for regular use. At full throttle, it roars. Too much fun.

Salt water boiling over really does a number on these cast iron burners. It is great to just be able to replace the burner and move on. Have had no problems at all flame adjusts perfect. I love these burners particularly because they are efficient and quiet. I will buy many of these as long as I am able to get them.

Although I haven't been able to use the burner yet, it looks ok. It doesn't fit my burner stand in any way but that's no surprise and certainly not the seller's fault. Be careful though, there is no mention in the description but this has a QCC gas connection so you'll need to buy an adaptor to use it on UK propane cylinders. I ordered one from Amazon 3 weeks ago and it never came so still can't use this burner. You're fine if you trust China based Ebayers with 70% feedback but I don't, so I've now found a UK supplier and the adaptor is £18.Also, the item was very beaten up by the time it reached me due to non existent packaging material. This heavy cast iron burner was just rattling around in a flimsy cardboard box with the regulator in a plastic bag, no wonder it's beaten up and tatty, I'm surprised it reached me in one piece.It's all a shame because the burner itself does look good, but I guess I won't find out until I can eventually get it connected.

Easy to install. Works as expected. I am a little concerned about a void on the outside part of the burner, but it doesn’t go all the way through.
