Note:This item or part does not fit a 1990 BMW 535i (E34) upper radiator outlet toward the water pump, due this hose has 2 outlet endsand it requires a 3 outlet ( T joint ) 1 to radiator, 1 to the pump and 1 to heather chore . Add that Amazon shows to different optionsfor an upper radiator hose now, but when it was purchased it only showed the Gate 22155 and got a green check that it does fitthe 1990 535i 3.6LIs also odd although advertised and sold as a lower Radiator hose, it does fit perfect as a LOWER hose.

Upper hose, nope. I entered my car info correctly and the website says this will fit but it is nothing like the upper radiator hose on my 1990 BMW 535i. UPDATE: This is actually the LOWER hose.Gates is good, made in the USA quality so I am glad that at least one hose from this order is the correct one for my car.
