My factory plastic pipe cracked, so I replaced it with this one. It has done just fine with the ~20lbs of boost the engine makes, over a few thousand miles. The only issues I have with it are the rubber pieces don't have a lip to lock itself onto the tube itself, and one of my clamp screws broke off. It has not blown itself apart yet, but I would be worried if I was running more boost. The clamp may have been my fault for over torquing it to the intake, but I am not sure.

Clamps and boots aren’t bad, quality isn’t bad on the kit itself but on my truck (2006 f-250) it rubs my radiator hose (upper) I bought mine on rock auto not Amazon but like I said product quality Isn’t bad but the clearance issues are something that should be known before installing.

The actual metal tube is of decent quality, I don’t have any issues with it. However the boots are terrible. Super loose fitting and the top boot is a few mm too short. It seems like it would probably work OK but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Fits perfectly, the quality of the boots and pipe were what I have come to exepect from gates! Great product, great price. Don't waste your money replacing the factory plastic pipe with another plastic pipe, just do it once and do it right.
