First to all, I have to say... it still have 19.2 mm of width like the previous standard Powerlink that I bought 4 years ago, so it's a shame. I guess is part of Gates typical manufacturing. At the beginning I had doubts about genuineness of the product, first came without any manufacturer packaging, second but mainly because it's look and feels different, probably due to type of rubber (EPDM) and I'm not usually familiar with it, standard belts are more flexible, this one is stiffer. But apparently is not something bad, after a very cautious break-in period of 50 miles and later more than 1500 hard miles on it, I'm really pleased with it performance, it's running like a charm! It feels strong and robust while ridding, with smooth transitions between speed shifting. Even with my extensive heavy riding (aggressively) I'm impressed, it's in a great shape and low wear. I haven't doubt that it is a genuine Gates belt.

I am a DIY kind of guy and purchased this replacement belt for my Tomos Nitro 150 scooter. I took digital images of how I disassembled the housing for the belt, replaced it, and off I went! It's pretty simple for the average home mechanic.
